Fallen Empire: Legions
The long awaited unnamed FPS now has one. Fallen Empire: Legions will be available exclusively on InstantAction.
Tim Aste, Project Director, sat down with IGN for an interview about the game. The interview posted yesterday gives some insight into what the game will be about and how it'll play.
"With Legions, we set out to create a fast and furious online shooter. Now imagine that same game, but with a big freaking rocket strapped to your back. Freedom of movement is an integral part of the game concept; we wanted players to feel unrestrained by the world. If a player can see a spot where they wanted to go, we want them to get there easily."

Been waiting a long time for a real successor to Tribes 1 and 2. Hopefully this well end up being as complete as Shifter or Renegades servers in T1.

Well, I never pld tribes 1, I started on t2, but going back for a few games of tribes 1 made me realize how annoyed some t1 players must have been with base, I enjoyed base but classic,cluster are far more enjoyable.
I snapped my T:V disc and almost blinded myself in the process, I cannot believe this will be anything like T:V, lets just hope I am correct in my assumptions..

I have been forced to play horrible MMO's and subpar FPS's in the void left in the wake of Tribes. This game cannot come too soon...

I really hope i get into this beta! i loved t1 and t2 and have beta tested so many bad games since then so i gave up for a while untill i heard about this. i cant wait!

Tribes 2 didn't lure me away from Tribes 1. I modded 1 for so long...
It finally took PLANETSIDE to get me away from Tribes.
But, this may take me from PlanetSide. Where is Clan )]-[(olocaust?

As a huge fan of Tribes 1 (personally, I really disliked Tribes 2), I'm really looking forward to this game, and I hope it's simple enough to just be an awesome free movement combat game, not a turret farm like Renegades. Please get that beta started soon. :)

I alpha/beta tested Tribes/Tribes2 and was not impressed with anything after. All I have to say is Oops!.
Hopefully this will bring back the wonderful frantic skiing and fighting in my life!

I played Tribes 2 for like 5 years!! I loved every minute of it! I was really depressed when T:V came out. If this is anything like T2 and nothing like T:V. I think it will be a good game :). PLS dont make it like T:V!!

If this turns out to be a good sequel to the Tribes series, I will be spending many nights again getting drunk and shooting Lexor out of the air.

Please... make the game so you can customize your Character suit/armor; chest, legs,arms,helmet,boots. To give a feel that your character is unique from the rest of the people in the game. Thanks

Please make it mod friendly so that I'll easily be able to convert it to the game that everyone wants: Starsiege: Tribes remake. :)
What I didn't like about Tribes 2 and Vengeance is that there was too much energy in the jetpack. Half the fun with combat in Tribes 1 was that you had to be really skilled to jump to a point with your limited jetpack energy. Hopefully this game won't be the opposite where you're have so much energy, you can get to any point easily and hover in mid air. That will take away a huge percentage the the required skill.
