Hey InstantAction gamers,
As some of you may know we have officially launched our Private Beta and people are on InstantAction playing games as we speak! We’re still quite early in the Beta and know we have lots of kinks to work out. This is exactly why we wanted to let some of you in for an early peek – to help us stamp out all the problems before we launch to a wider audience. Please send us any issues and/or suggestions you may have and thank you to those who have already done so. We plan on rewarding the extra diligent users with cool stuff.

Bugs and Feedback
Bugs can be reported via the forums at forum.beta.instantaction.com in the ‘Bugs’ section under ‘Troubleshooting’. We really appreciate any feedback you can give us here so that we can improve InstantAction and make the site a much smoother ride for everyone.
The forums are a great place for other feedback and suggestions as well. Please take a look around and let your voice be heard.
Email Support
The other method for submitting problems that you may be running into is to send an email to support@instantaction.com. We’d prefer that you go to the forums first since someone else may have encountered the same problem already and got an answer. Also it’s just a great way for everyone in the community to be notified of new issues that pop up. However, we know that sending an email is just a lot easier so feel free to fire away!
Why can’t I play games yet?
One of the biggest confusions we’ve heard from those who have registered via www.instantaction.com, is the inability to play games. For now, only our Private Beta users are able to play. We’re letting people pre-register for now so that you can reserve your GamerName and to get in line for access to the Beta. You will receive an email from us (or from an existing Private Beta player) when you’re let in and at that time you should sign in at http://beta.instantaction.com to play the games. Pre-registration is also a good time to earn ActionTokens which brings us to the next point…
ActionTokens
There has also been some confusion around ActionTokens so let me try to clarify this. For a limited time, all users who register on InstantAction earn 500 free tokens. For every new user you invite as a friend (and by new user we mean someone who has not yet registered to InstantAction), you get another 50 free tokens. Your friend has to complete and confirm the registration in order for you to earn these points.

I'd love to be able to test Fallen Empire : Legions. I was a tribes 2 player from it's release until now. So i'm really excited about this one, seeing how Tribes : Vengeance wasn't any good. Glad seeing garagegames on this! I hope I'll get in the beta :D

Peter, you can't sign in the beta site unless you have been invited by mail. It's a different site you can't log in until they grant you access. That's all.

O.K. I'm excited for Open Beta! Can't wait! InstantAction looks very cool. I actually noticed you guys from an ad on Facebook. Well there go my college grades! j/k.
Ok a few critiques.
Critique#1.
Firstly, it took way to much time and was way to complicated to figure out what was InstantAction, and why I couldn't play the beta yet, etc... and I'm an advanced user. I can imagine how the average joe is probably feeling clueless about InstantAction.
QuickFix: On the mainpage, the big flash square at the right.. The first thing says "Introducing InstantAction ...". That should have on it explaining 'clearly' what is going on.
It just says '3d multiplayer games in a browser'... O.k. cool.. Where?! how?! what do i do?! I just wanna click click click and shoot shoot shoot... not read and figure out stuff...
So change that to be a bit more informative. maybe explain stuff.
In fact use that to divert traffic to this blog!! Foster a community where people check this blog often.
Critique#2.
k, can we be a little more informative? rough ETA for when OpenBeta will arrive... or even keep us in the dark... and stick with "it'll be here when we feel the quality is high enough to release".. companies like Blizzard, Apple, DFO/Aventurine all use that excuse to keep people at bay and not release info about products arrivals.
How about giving more information about the games, or a dev journal... Have that all posted here on the blog. There's virtually little to no information other than it'll all be playable in your web browser.. cool, but lack of info is not.
Critique#3.
Where is the forum?! it'll foster a community, people can ask questions, share info, create teams/friends... simple and effective way of passing info and starting off on a very strong footing.
Nothing of course can be fixed overnight, but all doable within a short period of time....(a month maybe??) ...
Anyhow, like i said, instantaction looks awesome, and I'm looking forward to trying it out. (any spots open in the closed beta??... haha ok i thought i might as well try... couldnt hurt!).

I want to beta the dogfight game. There's a gap in the market for those types of games. Usually fligt sims go for ultra realism while I just want good ol' "dakka dakka" blasting fun.

just for fallen empires, check the T1 & T2 forums! we all are talking about this, and some just go to instantaction.com, dont get it and leave....go check em,register, and post on behalf of IA. Cuz we dont want another T:V game thats for sure, we want u guys to listen to us....

check this everytime i try to sign up i get the first step but when the next page loads its blank and then a little message says that it has to resend information or something and its still blank someone please help me
