i was woundering if i could talk with the person in charge of legions, because i have some questions about some things that are wrong in the game, like the beam being visible for special sniper, and i would like to talk about some ideas i have that will make the game realy fun, for example a story mode.

hope you fix the beam being shown and hope you let me chat with the legions maker. ;P

The Mac team! Pleaseeeeeeee give us some hope on the nature of the Mac version, whether it is truly a native app or some kind of Cider bastard child, maybe some kind of demo showing that its up and running on the Mac.

I would be interested in a conversation with anyone from the art department, specifically the lead artist. Maybe I could get a job as a telecommuter, haha.

A few things I think that would increase the longevity of your online games:

1. Ranks. Figure out some sort of ranking system maybe involving a matchmaking system (somewhat like the one Bungie and others have introduced). This will not only make the game last longer but also add some challenges to some more experienced players.

2. Tournaments. This could be an alternative to a matchmaking system, sign up for a tournament be it in teams (2v2, 3v3, 5v5) or alone and allow the server to make a team for you.

3. Clans. When you get online and want to play with some friends but have none online, it's always nice to have a few other people to chat with while playing, and it's also a great way to meet new players and create teams to run in the tournaments (if you think it could be a good idea).

4. Dedicated servers. I know this costs money, and it kind of puts a damper on the whole free 2 play thing, but I know I'm not the only one that hates when the host has a terrible connection and he's the only one able to do anything. Seems to be mostly just a problem in ZAP and Think Tanks (I haven't seen any problems with Rokkit Ball.....yet)

5. I think a great idea for a live chat is every weekend bring someone from a different game in to chat with some people, maybe show them some tricks in the game, or just have some friendly rounds of their game or another on Instant Action. Playing the creators of a game tends to be pretty fun, I know I had fun beating some of the creators of Guitar Hero.

6. Get legions out already....lol, I know games take time, I'm just playing around. Please don't release it until it's ready.

7. Games Library. Maybe a way to let some unknown designers release their games through the Instant Action servers. I know IA is just new, but letting people release their own games not only increases your games library but you never know, maybe someone will make the next GTA or Halo and guess who gets to reap the benefits.

8. Please don't give the bots in ZAP and Rokkit Ball perfect aim. Standing there getting shot constantly in Rokkit Ball by a bot the entire game is enough to make me stop playing, hence why I'm here posting as apposed to actually playing something.

Sorry for such a long post, but I could have made it even longer. These are the major points I think you should discuss amongst yourselves, see if any of them seem like a good idea in your eyes.

Thanks for the opportunity to express my views and great job everyone, Long Live Instant Action!

PS. If you ever wanna hear the rest of my ideas....heh yea right, drop me a line, I'm sure you know how.

Is this where you post your questions? If not, I apologise. If it it, however, here are my questions.

I know this has probobly been asked before, but I was curious about a few things involving Legions.

1. Will the bases (assuming there are any) have some form of defensive measures? (Autoturrets, localized radars, and manned turrets, for example)

2. It may be a little early to ask this, but, around how many people should we expect at most in a Legions match? 8 to a team? 16? 32? 64(unlikely, but you never know)? I know very well that smaller teams can be just as fun, however, large games always have their own joy.
While tactics would go out the window, the large numbers of players fighting over a wide area gives the battle the unique sense of a large-scale conflict. Would epic be a good term? Yes, let's use that. Large groups makes for epic, if disorganized, battles.

3. Next, will vehicles be available? I know that would be redundant, as you will be able to move pretty easily. But that extra armor and firepower does give them a use even here. If they can't be implemented effectively, however, leave them out. No vehicles is much better than vehicles that don't work right.

4. Now for communication. Will the game have voice communication? And if it does, will it retain typed communication for those who don't own a mic, or who's mic is of poor quality and not worth using?

5. And finally, will the game run on pc's with lower end performance? Take mine, for example. My RAM is in the 400 range (i'd rather not try to change it and screw something up due to the fact i wouldn't know what I was doing), and I was curious if I would be able to play this game. So, yes, will Legions be playable on lower-end pcs?

That's all I want to know. If you answer any of these, thankyou.

The Mac dev team would be AWESOME and also talk about Marble Blast Online. (yeah I know we have been at the end of chats but it's the best game on IA/XBLA)
